In-Line Conveyor Belt Freezers

Some food producers require products to be shock frozen or quick chilled on a conveyor belt. Many configurations are possible with in line conveyor belt freezers. Single or multiple belts; Multiple belts give the flexibility to run different sized products at different speeds at the same time.

A wide variety of belt styles and materials are available to the customer. Depending on application, Steel, Plastic, or rubberized material may be utilized, in either solid construction or Chain link. Cleated, Plate and Timed belt conveyors are also available.

Tiered belt systems are also available and are such that the product enters in high on one side, then goes back and forth over multiple belts and comes out at the opposite end at a lower level.

Air Defrost - This is a manual method of defrost achieved by running the fans without refrigeration. (For Blast Chilling only)

Hot Gas Defrost -This offers an excellent alternative to water or air defrosting methods. In this system, the hot compressor discharge gas is routed to the outlet of the evaporator. This hot gas warms the evaporator, thaws any frost that has accumulated, condenses into a liquid and flows into the common liquid line to feed the other evaporators. Defrost cycles can be set automatically to occur at the end of production shifts or manually run at breaks and lunch. This will help to extend daily production runs.

Sequential Defrost - Multiple and independently valved evaporator coils are used during the freezing process. Defrost times are sequentially operated on each coil through a hot gas defrosting cycle while the remaining coils continue to operate.

All of our conveyor machines are custom designed for your specific job. Belt widths can range from ten inches to eight feet or more. Carefully designed air flow together with very cold temperatures preserves the products. Our quick freezing process ensures against damage from dehydration and ice crystallization.
